I have to admit. I love soft drinks. I have been doing a really great job of staying away from them since DH left but seeing this makes me really want a Mountain Dew.

Keep in mind that prices vary by store (even among stores in the same city) so keep that in mind when “doing” this deal. I have heard that the prices have even been lower in a few stores.

Target: Look Out for This HOT Coupon Book!

I got this coupon book a couple weeks ago and didn’t see anything special. While reading through a forum it was brought to my attention that one of the coupons is, indeed, a great coupon!

The coupon book is found hanging on the mops. Inside there is a coupon for $3/1 Kingsford Charcoal Briquets or KC Masterpiece Barbecue Sauce!

This barbecue sauce is about $1.50 at Target and less than $1.20 at the Commissary! If you use this coupon at the Commissary, you are looking at $1.80 overage per coupon. YAY!

Target Clearance Finds

I stopped in Target quickly today to pick up a few things and as I walked around I snapped a few shots of the awesome clearance finds laying around.

Keep in mind that Target clearance products vary widely by store. If you are in Target, I would recommend keeping your eyes peeled for these great deals:

The most notable deal right now is 30% off all of the “back to school” school supplies. I was able to pick up notebooks for only $.10 each (my girls go through paper like crazy)! They also had Papermate pens marked down to $.70/pack. There is a $.50/1 Papermate Stationary Product coupon on the Target website which will bring these down to $.20/pack.

I also noticed a sign on the RoseArt products that stated, “FREE crayons with purchase of colored pencils”.

There are no coupons available for the Scotch Fur Fighter but it is already marked down to $2.98 from $5.99 so that is a pretty good deal. I got one of these when they were FREE several months ago and they actually work quite well.

These 18 ct boxes of U by Kotex were marked down to $2.99. THere is both a Target coupon and a MQ that can be stacked together to bring the price of these down to just $.99!

This bottle of Vaseline Sheer Infusion was marked down to 50% off at @2.98. I can’t find any coupons on this right now but I am pretty sure I have seen them around.

The 6 pk bottles of Pediasure Berry Cream were marked down to $7.69 from $10.99. There are a couple different coupons you can use with this deal. You should be able to stack the following (2) coupons:

There is a new Target coupon available for $1/1 Dr. Pepper! This is a bricks coupon so you can print (2) per computer by hitting the back and “resend” button after the first one has printed.

If you check around, many stores (almost all stores in my area — Walmart, Dillons, Commissary) have $1 off (2) 12-pk or (1) 24-pk peelies. You can stack these for a great deal on Dr. Pepper.

The expiration date on the Target coupon is 8/28.

So it appears you might have to jump through a few hoops to get the coupons. haha. Go to coupons.com. On the right side of the page is a vertical advertisement. You can then print that one twice.

As I stated, this is a regional coupon (as most Target coupons are). I just bought (40) of each set on eBay (Check out this post on how to buy coupons on eBay). The cost was $8. That being said, on (40) bottles of shaving cream, I will be making $40! So, even though I paid for the coupons, I will be coming out $$32 ahead (minus tax, of course).

With the wide range of prices for this product, I would suggest checking the price at your local store before buying coupons. That being said, if you are going to order coupons, I would recommend doing it ASAP before the blogosphere gets wind of this and the prices skyrocket for the coupons.

You can use this to your advantage by using the overage on items you really need!
